Violet Rose (Green) Slabaugh, 67, of Weirton passed away November 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. Mrs. Slabaugh was an avid animal lover; she loved her cats and also enjoyed riding horses. Violet is survived by her son Jeffrey Green and his wife Tamara and their two children Alan and Matthew Green also of Weirton. A memorial Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 11 AM November 16, 2011 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Kent Durig presiding. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, P.O. Box 2247, Weirton, WV 26062.
