Virginia E. Wolf, 88, of St. Joseph, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Oakridge Baptist Church 766 Oakridge Dr., St. Joseph with Pastor Nick Jackson officiating. Memorials may be made to Oakridge Baptist Church or Hospice at Home. Those wishing to share a memory of Virginia may do so online at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Virginia was born December 12, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Daniel & Anna (Kalis) Schlesinger. On December 3, 1947 she married Franklin Wolf in St. Joseph. Virginia worked as a Clerk for Kmart for 20 years and for Elder Beerman for 13 years and retired in 2010 at the age of 87. Virginia loved to work. She also enjoyed baking, reading, selling daffodils, picnic's at the beach where everyone enjoyed her german potato salad, and was very involved with her church.
Virginia is survived by her son Phillip "Fiddlin Phil" (Julia) Kerr Wolf of St. Joseph; daughter Lois Anne Wolf of Waco, TX; grandchildren Ezra and Tirzah Reilly of Waco, TX; son-in-law Stephen Reilly of Waco, TX. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and husband Franklin Wolf.
