Virginia Josephine Buckley

Virginia J. Buckley, 98, of Moline, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, at Heartland Healthcare Center, Moline.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at the church. Burial will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Rapids City. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Illinois Heart Association.

Virginia was born April 1, 1913, the daughter of Louis and Frances Ronketti Baietto. She married John H. Buckley. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1976.

Virginia was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was an excellent homemaker who loved decorating her home for the holidays. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. Virginia also enjoyed collecting miniature shoes from her different travels.
