Mrs. Virginia Louise "Lucy" Evans, age 85 of McDonough, Georgia passed away November 17, 2011. She was born in Tallapoosa, GA to the late William Arthur and Willie Mae Vessey Reeves. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil James Evans and was the last of nine children. She enjoyed yard work and cooking. Survivors include her children, Bobby (Judy) Evans of Locust Grove, Barry (Jill) Evans of McDonough, Dorothy Jean Evans of Atlanta; grandchildren, Gary Evans of Atlanta, Mandy (Brett) Lanza of Charleston, SC, Jennifer (Kevin) Campbell of McDonough, Tucker Evans of Atlanta; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park at 4:00 PM.
