Westerman, Virginia, M. (Fairfield), 84 formerly of Harrington Avenue died Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Brentwood Nursing Home.  She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Westerman and a daughter of the late Richard and Anna (Donahue) Fairfield.  Mrs. Westerman was the mother of Michael and Stephen Westerman, Nancy Lareau, Kerry Westerman and the late James Westerman.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandson.  She was the sister of the late Earl, Richard and Edward Fairfield, Dorothy Langlois, Louise Fairfield and Rita McGuinnes.  Mrs. Westerman was devoted to her children and grandchildren.


 


Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. William Church, Pettaconsett Ave. at 9  am.  Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, (South Team), 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02908 will be appreciated.
