Mrs. Virginia Maye Sisco Wright, 81, of Hot Springs, died December 18, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born July 15, 1930 in Quniton, Oklahoma to Dave B. Sisco and Goldie Ogden Sisco. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her father, mother, her two brothers David B. Sisco, Jr. and John D. Sisco, and her daughter, Joyce Brundage.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Alfred S. Wright, and her 3 sons, Scott Allen, grandson Benjamin and granddaughter, Adrianna, and Christopher and granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann and grandson, Johnathan of Hot Springs, and Daniel and daughter-in-law Coleen, and granddaughter, Emily Grace of Bayville, New Jersey. Survivors also include two sisters, Helen Wilson of Ft. Smith, and Mary Ann and brother-in-law Cliff Rush of Hot Springs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was graduated from Fort Smith Senior High, Class of 1948. She was employed at the law offices of Roy Jean, Sr. and First Federal Savings and Loan Association in Ft. Smith. While her husband was stationed in various military installations, she also worked for the Federal Government in Germany and Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Hot Springs at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday with Reverend Bud Reeves officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the National Cemetery in Ft. Smith under the direction of Gross Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Scott Wright, Christopher Wright, Daniel Wright, Clifton Rush, Joel Rush and E.H. Hunt.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Gross Funeral Home.

When desired donations to First United Methodist Church, in lieu of flowers, will be appreciated.
