Virginia Ruth Garner passed away November 3, 2011 in Scottsdale. Virginia was born at home in Globe, Arizona weighing in at 11 lbs11 oz. She was married to Lonnie Garner for 39 years when he preceded her in death in 2003. They moved to Camp Verde in 1972 and worked the CPA business together. Virginia also worked at Phoenix Cement and worked for several title companies in escrow. She was very involved in publishing the Fort Verde Days brochure and very involved in all her children's activities. Virginia loved living in Camp Verde and being with her family. She is survived by three loving children Vicki Cramer (Roger), Camp Verde, Edward Garner (Kelli), Scottsdale, Charlie Garner (Michelle), Phoenix, four grandchildren, Amanda Grey Frost, Jason William Cramer, Taylor Shea & Teagan Nichole Garner, two great granddaughters, Ashley Grey & Jasmine Rae Frost. Services will be held Saturday, November 12 at Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood, Az at 11:00am, graveside services will be held at Clear Creek Cemetery in Camp Verde206 and lunch will be served at Town Hall Room 206 to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society or the Arizona Hospice Association.
