Vivian Pilgrim Carey Dorand, a retired office manager of LCR Plumbing Supply Company passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Ernest A. Dorand and the late Paul E. Carey. Daughter of the late Louis Leroy Pilgrim and Mildred Margaret Ebersberger Pilgrim. Mother of Paul David Carey, wife Barbara and Michael Leroy Carey, finance' Sylvia Loyd. Grandmother of Melissa Anne Carey. Great grandmother of Gregory Paul Carey and Monica Leigh Gregg. Aunt of Diane Lee Bradley, husband Dennis.
Great aunt of Eddie Cassard, Jr. Bryan Cassard and Dylan Bradley. Step-mother of Charlotte Dorand and Steven Dorand. Step-grandmother of Christopher Laderer, wife Beth, Scott Higgins and Bryce Dorand. Step-great grandmother of Brenna Laderer.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
