Dr. Wade Gladin
Greer, SC

Dr. E. Wade Gladin, 72, husband of Christine Gladin, of 302 Riverside Towne Circle, died October 8, 2009.

Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late James Robert and Grace Cecelia Loftin Gladin.

Dr. Gladin served the Lord as an educator for 50 years, most recently at Bob Jones University.

Surviving are his son, Richard Gladin and his wife Sheryl of Virginia Beach, VA; his daughter, Sharon Gladin Glessner and her husband Ty of Junction City, KA; two sisters, Wanda Mae Morris of Jacksonville, FL, and Martha Janice Haggit of Ft. Mill, SC; and two grandchildren, Evin Gladin and Nathaniel Gladin. He was preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Gladin.

Services will be Sunday, 2PM at Hampton Park Baptist Church, with entombment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:30PM until 7PM at The Mackey Mortuary. The family will also receive friends Sunday at the church from 1PM until 1:45PM.
