Wallace D. Meredith

Meredith, Wallace "Wally" D., 86, WWII veteran, passed away January 19, 2012. He was born May 20, 1925 in Wichita, KS to Ross and Ethel (Penrod) Meredith. Wallace served in the Navy during WWII in the South Pacific. He retired from Rand Graphics as an Offset Pressman in 1990. In his retirement years, Wallace enjoyed wood crafting and bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Warren Meredith, Lavern Meredith, and Bea Shields. Wallace is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marie Meredith; children, Howard (Carol) Meredith and Elaine (Mike) Dibble; 4 grandchildren, Jeannie, Colin, Erin, Carla; 6 great-grandchildren, and sister, Jan Fitzhugh. Memorial service: 10 am, Tuesday at Lakeview Funeral Home.
