Wallace F. Jenkins, 91, of Hamilton passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Wallace has been a lifelong area resident. Mr. Jenkins proudly served in the United States Navy, sailing over 250, 000 miles on the USS Essex in the Pacific. Wallace worked as an Accountant for Thiokol Chemical Company for more than 25 years. He was a member at Saint Mark United Methodist Church and served as the Treasurer for Mercer ARC. Wallace had great passion for fishing, Big Band music, gardening and bowling. He was a baseball enthusiast who played for the Tri-County League. He was a very kind-hearted man who loved his family. Predeceased by his parents, Wallace and Alice Jenkins; a granddaughter Nicole Roberts; a grandson, Jason John Fleming; brother, Russell Jenkins; sister, Alice Jenkins Bugbee. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia M. Jenkins; his children Dorothy M. (Geoffrey Sr.) Kline, Regina (Charles) Roberts, Melinda (John) Fleming, Wallace G. (Michele) Jenkins, Leah-Ann Jenkins; sister, Alma Jenkins Johnson, brother, Melvin Jenkins; eight grandchildren, Daniel Roberts, Geoffrey Kline, Jr., Andrea Roberts, Randy Kline, Katelyn Fleming, Matthew Fleming, Melanie Rose Jenkins, Andrew Robert Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Aaron Kline, Austin Kline, Haley Fleming Spence, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Family and Friends may call on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
