I am so sorry for your loss. I am the son of Ruth Brown Cundiff (Emmett Brown's daughter). Mon and Jake were 1st cousins and good buddies. Her house was alway a stop on his visits, until her illness caused her to not know him. He would always come to the farm and find me too. I am so sorry for your loss. I am the son of Ruth Brown Cundiff (Emmett Brown's daughter). Mon and Jake were 1st cousins and good buddies. Her house was alway a stop on his visits, until her illness caused her to not know him. He would always come to the farm and find me too. It was a pleasure to talk to him and we always looked forward to his visits. I espically remember his visit in 1979. My wife and I were moving from Mom's into our new house and decided to "just do it" ourselves one Sunday morning in July. With no help except, Mom we moved all of the small sutff. Just as I was trying to move the big pieces"Uncle Jake" pulled into Mom's driveway. With out asking he jumped in and helped with the heavy pieces and stayed until the last piece was in place in our new house. We will never fogot his act of kindness, but that was "Uncle Jake". I also remember his stories about his job. As I worked with a machining company, I found the hand heat treating work that he did to be interesting and he spent time to explain the process. A process that required a high level of skill.

I was deeply sadden to learn from my mother of Mr. Brown's passing this past weekend. He was one of the sweetest and most gentle men that I ever had the privilege of knowing. His positive outlook on live was refreshing and uplifting in this era of skepticism. Please accept the sympathy of me and my family during this time of sorrow and also know that he will always be with you so long as you remember him and the love he gave. You are in our prayers.
