WALLACE J. BROWN, Sr., age 83 of Parma, beloved husband of the late Mary V. (nee McConaha ); loving father of Wallace (Gaile), Thomas (Pamela) ,Timothy (Elaine), and Barbara Sobel; son of the late Rufus and Sally (nee Dillon); dear grandfather of ten; great-grandfather of four; brother of four surviving sisters, three surviving brothers, and six deceased brothers; uncle, friend, and good neighbor of many. Wallace was a hard working man who grew up on a farm in Virginia always providing for his family. He was loved by family and friends often sharing his knowledge and experience about flower and vegetable gardening with them. He was a true Democrat. Throughout his life, he was a survivor of numerous medical challenges who kept a sharp mind and was often seen riding his bicycle throughout the MetroParks. He worked for Lynburg Steel Company for 41 years as a heat treater. Wallace passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. His body will be emtombed at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 4334 PEARL RD., CLEVELAND FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. ON MONDAY.
