Mr. Wallace Myers, Jr., son of Mrs. Mary Alice Myers and the late Wallace Myers, Sr. was born on January 5, 1950 in Lee County, South Carolina. He quietly adhered to his call home to glory on January 17, 2012. Known by most as "Wallace, Jr.", he attended Dennis High School and graduated through the Job Corp. program in Lee County, South Carolina. Wallace formed a union with Louise Champagne on May 5, 1970. Through this union were born two sons: Wallace "Lionell" Myers of Huntsville, Alabama and Dwayne "Lamont" Myers of New Jersey. While still honeymooners, Wallace and his new bride moved to Washington, DC until his first son was born. To share his first born with all, he decided to move back to Bishopville, South Carolina in the early 1970's. Wallace enjoyed working and was employed by Reeves Bros. in Bishopville, South Carolina. In the late 70's, his second son was born and Wallace decided to move his family to New Jersey. Right away he was hired by Hudson Tool & Die Company located in Linden, New Jersey. Due to his skills and accomplishments at his trade of drafting, he was able to have and enjoy an illustrious career…all with the same company. Wallace has three sisters: Mary Elizabeth Myers McDuffie of Sumpter, SC, Bevelyn Myers Peterson (Gregory) of Plainfield, NJ and Christine Myers Peterson (who predeceased him). He also has six grandchildren, one great grandchild, one niece, one nephew, a daughter-in-law, Michaela Myers and a host of extended family and friends. Wallace was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son and uncle who treated everyone with kindness and respect. Even though he was a very private person, he always showed love and admiration for his loved ones.
