Walter W. (Mick) Harner, 90, of Sacramento, PA, passed away Friday, January 27th, while in the company of family members, at his residence. Walter was born in Valley View, PA on October 3, 1921, a son of the late Mabel (Morgan) and William Harner. He worked as a Coal Miner at Hegins Mine Co. Mick attended Hegins Twp School, enjoyed the outdoors and wrestling, and was a Little League Coach. He was the husband of Margaret Harner. They would have celebrated their 70th anniversary on January 31

Walter is also survived by two sons Steve Harner, of Sacramento; Kim, husband of Janice Harner, of Sacramento; Walter is also survived by a sister, Tilley Wolfgang, of Valley View; a brother, Junior Harner, of Tremont. 2 grandsons, Cliff Harner, and Chad Harner, by 4 great grandsons, Hunter, Blake, Brenton, and Kaden Harner, and 4 step grandchildren Jon, Amanda, Jaden, and Ashton. he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 1 sister, and a grandson Brent Harner.

Memorial Service at at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA, at 11am on Thursday, February 2nd, with Rev. Raymond Holland officiating.
