Wanda D. Mulhern December 7, 1930 - December 24, 2011 Wanda D. Mulhern of Waco passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, at St. Jerome Catholic Church with the Rev. Cyril Ejaidu officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and continue after Rosary, that will be recited at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, December 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Wanda Dean was born December 7, 1930, in Waco, Texas, to Bob and Edna Middleton Vickers. She attended Waco schools and the University of Houston. She married Thomas J. Mulhern December 7, 1959, in Waco. She spent 25 years in N.Y.C. and on Long Island, NY. She taught physical fitness several years at Our Lady of the Assumption School in the Bronx and moved back to Waco in 1978. Wanda was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, St. Jerome Womens Society, the Social Awareness Committee, Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxillary #1358 and American Legion Post #121. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband, Thomas J. Mulhern; and two brothers. She is survived by daughters, Mary Borrelli of Edwards, N.Y., and Anne Schreiber of Waco; son, Matthew Mulhern and wife, Kathy, of Victoria; grandchildren, Amanda Beyer and Stevie Ray Schreiber of Hewitt; and three great-grandchildren, Dylan M. Dunn, Angel Marie Rodriguez and Sadie Palmie; and cousins, Thomas Lee Middleton and Jennifer Middleton. Pallbearers are Steve Fell, Joe Grubessich, John Janek, James Reiger, Bob Ryan and Thomas Lee Middleton. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospital Cardiology Dept., Caritas of Waco, Salvation Army or to St. Jerome Catholic Church Development Fund.
