Wanda L. Tennant age 79; of Higgins Lake passed away at her home on Tuesday May 29, 2012 with her family by her side. Wanda was born on January 21, 1933 in Princeton, Kentucky; to Homer & Pauline (Oliver) Wall. Wanda graduated from Beecher High School in Flint. She married William Tennant on June 30, 1952 in Mt. Morris. Wanda moved to Higgins Lake 3 years ago from Evansville, Indiana. She was an avid Bingo player. Wanda is survived by her Daughter; Barbara Cooper of Flint, Daughter; Sheila Tennant of Roscommon, Son; Steven (Ann) Tennant of Burton, Son; Clayton Tennant of Lapeer, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, Sister; Ann Short of Missouri, Sister; Verbie Fitch of Missouri, Sister; Janice of Missouri, Brother; Thomas H Wall of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband William in 1976, Brothers Patrick and Norman. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday May 31, 2012 at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel from 4-8 PM. The funeral is scheduled for Friday June 1, 2012 at the funeral home at 1:00 PM; Rev. Jeff Tuttle will conduct the service. Burial will take place at Denton Township Cemetery in Prudenville. The family would like to thank Hospice of Helping Hands in West Branch for all that they did.
