WARREN LOUGHEED Skip Lougheed, born Warren G. Harding Lougheed, age 90, passed away on January 26, 2012 at his home in Camas, WA. Warren was born March 4, 1921 in Bay City, OR, the son of Gratz and Lydia Lougheed. Warren married Celia Rice on January 9, 1944 in Lewiston, ID. In his younger years he worked in logging camps on the Oregon Coast. He worked in the Vancouver Ship Yards during World War II. After the ship yards he worked for Hoffman Construction before getting his job at the Camas School District where he retired as Maintenance Supervisor after 30+ years. Skip had a profound, but quiet faith which was represented in his life. He valued a good work ethic that has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. Warren's love for life involved traveling, camping and working outside on his property. He was a loving, devoted husband. His joy in life was being with his children and grandchildren and will be remembered for the stories he would share with them. He was loved and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by 3 older brothers and 3 older sisters. He is survived by his wife, Celia of 68 years; sons, Lonie (Cynthia and Ross (Cheryl); 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, Nolan, Aaron(Jackie-Jacob), Katie McDonald (Ryan & Quinten), Chris, Ryan (Kala-Ella Lynn & Madelynn); 3 step-grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. His life will be celebrated during a memorial service at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas on Saturday, February 4 at 11am. His ashes will be inurned at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
