Wayne Leone Jones, 69, of Payson, Utah passed away suddenly on Friday, August 26, 2011. He was born in Payson on December 13, 1941 to Ralph Leone Jones and Odessa Ostler.
Wayne Leone loved model trains, fishing, and watching The Utah Jazz and BYU Football. One of his favorite things to do was to go to the café and visit with friends. He was a member of the LDS Church. Wayne Leone worked for 20 years cutting patterns at Jolene's.
He is survived by his sister Linda (Dale) Peterson, Vernal, Utah; and his brothers James Davis, and Allan Davis, both of Payson, Utah. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and 43 great nieces and nephews, whom he loved spending time with. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father Lavar Davis, his brother Douglas Jones and his sister-in-law Carolyn Jones.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 29, 2011 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Payson, 587 South 100 West Payson, Utah. Graveside services will be held at the Payson City Cemetery, 805 East 400 North at 2:00 p.m. following the viewing.
