BRAUCH, Wayne T., Sr., age 66 of Hawthorne, on Friday, February 24, 2012. Born in Paterson, Wayne had resided in Hawthorne all his life. He worked for Astro Corporation, installing Heating and Air Conditioning systems and attended Cedar Hill Christian Church, Wyckoff. He was also a member of the Seaweed Yacht Club in Stony Point, NY. Wayne was the beloved husband of Edith (nee Dykstra) Brauch. Loving father of Wayne T. Brauch, Jr. of Hawthorne and Laurie Ziegelhofer of Mahwah. Dear grandfather of Corey and Austin Ziegelhofer and Victoria Brauch. Dear brother of Robert Brauch of Wayne, Dean Brauch of North Haledon, Ronald Brauch of Wayne and brother-in-law of Jean Smith of Scotch Plains. Cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Cremation will be private. Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-2718 or for the needs of the family.
