“Beloved Wife, Mother and Daughter”
Wendi Kay Quinn, 35, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on June 14, 1975, in Logan, Utah. She is the daughter of Jeffrey J. Wettstein, Karla Quinn-Taylor and James H. Quinn Jr. She is the wife of Sheldon G. Christensen and the caring mother of Kaiden Kole Harrawood, 13, Blaise Alexandra Harrawood, 10, and Britton Dane Christensen, 4.
Wendi loved beautiful things. Her family and friends always looked to Wendi for advice on make-up, fashion and food. Her passions included her family first, then her love of entertaining, cooking, decorating, scrapbooking and music. Wendi is well known for her compassionate love of animals. Professionally, she was a Real Estate Agent for many years. Everyone loved to surround themselves around Wendi and her contagious sense of humor. There were many family gatherings where we would laugh for many hours. She had a large circle of family and friends including five siblings: Candice Quinn, James Quinn, Devin Quinn, Alexa Quinn and Remington Taylor.
She is survived by her husband, children, parents, siblings, loving grandparents, many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, friends and two cats. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather Quinn and Great-Grandmother Carley.
A viewing will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S. Highland Dr. Graveside services for a celebration of Wendi’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 S. Memory Lane.
The family would like to thank St. Marks Hospital and their staff for the loving care they gave to Wendi.
