Wendy Bray Nations, age 39, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away early Monday morning, July 30, 2012, while asleep at home. Wendy was born on February 2, 1973, in Hugo, Oklahoma, when Carl Bray and Susan Pauly welcomed their baby girl, Wendy, into their lives.

Growing up, some of Wendy's favorite memories were time spent with her sister, Leta. The two were rarely separated and cared for each other deeply.

Wendy graduated from Mayde Creek High School in Katy, Texas, where some of her favorite times were spent as a cheerleader. After graduating, she moved on to Stephen F. Austin State University, in Nacogdoches, Texas. During a break from college, while visiting her friends in Houston, Wendy met Ron Nations, her one true love. On September 11, 1999, in Houston, Texas, Ron was blessed to have Wendy's hand in marriage. In 2000, Ron and Wendy moved to Georgetown, Texas. In 2006, Ron and Wendy welcomed their son, Andrew James "AJ" Nations, into their lives. Wendy's mom was at the hospital when AJ was born. Wendy had spent several years prior to AJ's birth, caring for her sick mother. Wendy's mom, Susan Pauly, passed away 6 weeks after AJ was born.

Wendy worked at Plains Capital Bank in Austin, Texas, and some of her most treasured friendships were developed there. Taking care of the day to day things for her husband and son were one of the most important things to Wendy. She especially enjoyed family time with all of the Nations family that loved and supported her. Wendy was an incredible mother, loving wife, unconditional friend, and will be missed by all.

Wendy was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Pauly and her stepfather, Victor Pauly.

To cherish Wendy's memory, she leaves behind her husband, Ron Nations, Jr. and their son, Andrew Nations of Georgetown, Texas; her father, Carl Bray of Pipe Creek, Texas; sister, Leta Childress and husband Frank of Houston, Texas; nephew, Roman Childress of Houston, Texas; niece, Taylor Rich of Houston, Texas; with a host of friends and extended Nations family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Funeral Home, in Georgetown. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, in the Chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, in Georgetown. Chaplain Dean Hamilton will be officiating.

Honored to serve, as pallbearers includes: Kiley Cedotal, Scott Nations, Tim Nations, Mike Nations, Bill Nations, Jr., and Dave Moore.

You are invited to share a memory or message in our memorial guestbook at www.RamseyFuneral.com.
