Wesley Robinson was born on January 16, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Willie Mae Robinson. Wesley's father and mother both preceded him in death. Wesley was baptized at an early age at Calvary Baptist Church 2822 Easton under Pastor Italius Moore. When he returned to St. Louis, Missouri he united with Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under Reverend Collins. Wesley attended Carr Lane and Divoll Elementary School and Vashon High School in St. Louis Public School System. He continued his education at Harris Stowe Teacher's College and Barber's College in Chicago. He practiced his trade for several years in Chicago. He enlisted in the United States Air Force after high school served four years and was honorably discharged. Wesley met and married Jeretha Turner and to this union they were blessed with three children, Joseph Wesley Robinson, Anthony Dean Robinson and Phillip Edward Robinson, a daughter, Kimberly Jean Keene was born to Imogene Keene. Wesley worked at Western Electric in Chicago until he retired and returned to St. Louis, Missouri. He also worked at Sears Tower Building. Wesley departed this life on January 8, 2012. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Anthony Dean Robinson and Philip Edward Robinson; a daughter, Kimberly Jean Keene; a loving sister, Mildred Gadson; a very devoted niece, Linda Joyce Herman who assisted him in his final hours along with her husband Alexander Herman and niece Alexandrya Herman; nephews, John Wesley Gadson, and Michael Edward Alexander; niece Helen Elizabeth Moore; many friends and numerous relatives.
