On August 31, 2013, Wilhelmina "Wilma" Pasion Cuyong moved on from this world. She went peacefully surrounded by family, friends, prayer and love. Born in Manila, Philippines, Wilma was a resident of San Leandro for 38 years. Above all, she enjoyed serving her community by opening her heart and doors to all who were in need. Known best as the "favorite" or "coolest" aunt, she was never a judgmental person, but a great judgement of character. Dancer, counselor, and party extraordinaire, she taught us to find the joy and love in the grace of God and to always appreciate and take care of one another. Reunited with her son CJ (1974-2006), her legacy of light is survived by husband Jo' of 40 years, daughters Michelle and Monica, son-in-law Ernie, daughter-in-law Jolly and grandson Christian. Her siblings will also spread her light as well as innumerable friends and loved ones. Visitation begins Wednesday 09/04/2013 1:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. and Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Santos-Robinson Mortuary 160 Estudillo Ave. San Leandro. The Vigil/Rosary will be on Thursday at 6:00 P.M. at St. Leander Church 550 W. Estudillo Ave. San Leandro. The Funeral Liturgy/Mass will be on Friday at 1:30 P.M. at St. Leander Church. Interment will be private.
