William Atijera, 69, passed away on January 2, 2012.
William was born on June 12, 1942 in the Philippines to Bernardo and Asuncion Atijera. He grew up mainly in La Union and Baguio City along with three sisters and two brothers.
His career spanned 23 years working for the US Naval Base at Subic Bay, Philippines and 19 years at Goodwill Industries.
Immigrating to the United States in 1991 with his entire family, he was finally able to realize the American dream and gain citizenship (along with his entire family) in 2000.
He was an avid Lakers fans and enjoyed all types of sporting events. But, there was nothing he loved more than spending time with his dear family.
He is survived by his wife, Crisanta; children Jeff, Mylene, and Richie; and an extended family all over the world.
