William "Bill" Gray Mangum, 63, a loving husband, father, uncle and brother-in-law went to meet his heavenly Father on February 14, 2013. He passed away peacefully at home. He was born February 19, 1949 to the late Eugene Hiron Mangum, Sr and Dora Daniel Massey Mangum. Bill retired from North Carolina State University. In his earlier years he attended all home basketball and football games of the Wolfpack. He was a member of the Whitestone Masonic Lodge for over 40 years. He loved working outside and in his "building". Bill enjoyed growing and looking after flowers.

Funeral Service: 3:00 pm, Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Wakefield Central Baptist Church, 308 Proctor Street, Zebulon, NC 27597

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Saturday, February 16, 2013 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service and Crematory, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 and other times at the home.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Wakefield Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
