William (Bill) Richardson, a long time resident of Fort Wayne, died Monday, December 5th. Born in Scotland on March 15, 1926, raised in Camrose, Alberta Canada. Bill came to Fort Wayne to play for the Fort Wayne Komets from 1954 to 1958. He became a citizen in 1961. He was a member of the Canadian Army, Komet Old Timers, and Fort Wayne Ski Club. Survived by wife, Germaine; step-son, Bob; daughters, Mary Cameron, Kitty, Janet (Richardson) Megles; grandson, Joshua Megles; 4 granddaughters; and 3 great-grandchildren. Calling from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, December 9, 2011 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Private interment at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
