William C. Barteld, Sr., 54, of Williamstown, on Monday, April 27, 2009.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee McLaughlin). Devoted father of Robert D. (fiancé Marianne Branda) Barteld and the late William C. Barteld Jr. Loving son of Joan Marshall and the late William W. Barteld. Dear brother of Fred Ingham, Pam Koller, Sue Hawkins, Ron Bowhay, the late Joe Dudevior and the late Michele Ingham. Also surviving are his companion Trudy Bickley and her daughters Katlin Bickley and Lacey Bickley and her grandson Santino Vignola.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday 6:00-9:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Spirit of Light LLC, c/o Kathy Simon, 531 Riviera Drive, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
