MILLERSBURG- William C. Stence, age 78, of 234 Church St. passed away on Sunday, July 31 at the Manor At Susquehanna Village. He was born in Millersburg the son of the late John and Bessie Keiter Stence. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Bill was retired from Bethlehem Steel. Survivors include his wife Gloria Lucas Stence, three sons Curtis, William, Jr. and Larry, a daughter Catherine Shade all of Millersburg, a brother Robert of San Diego, CA, six sisters Mary Etzweiler and Shirley Whitman both of Millersburg, Freda Koppenhaver of Spring Glen, Dharlys Walters of Penns Creek, Gladys Fahnestock of Halifax, Barbara Adams of Ephrata, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Thursday August 4, 2011 from 1-2 pm at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg with services to follow at 2 pm. Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax. Memorial donations can be made to the Diabetes Assoc. 3544 N. Progress Ave. Suite 101 Harrisburg, PA 17110.
