He was our Father......

Thank you Lord for taking him home,
Released from this earth, to heaven he's gone.
He was our Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend.
We'll miss him O' Lord, our love knows no end.

But the memories of him that we will share,
Make our loss that much easier to bear.
When you gave him to us, it was only a loan.
Now's come the time for him to go home.

Thank you, Lord, he passed with such ease.
And praise you, for you've given him peace.
We rejoice in the knowledge that he is with you,
That again we will see him when we join you too.

You've answered our prayers that he be made whole.
You've done for him all we could ask and much more.
You've shown us again your infinite grace.
You've taken him home to a heavenly place.
