William D. "Dave" English, 90, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at The Harbours of Ft. Wayne. Born in Peru, IN, William was a WWII Navy Veteran. He worked with U.S. Postal Service for 25 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion, NARFE-National Association of Retired Federal Employees, life member of DAV and NRA. Surviving are his sons, Michael (Kristeen) English of New Haven, Steven (Jill) English of Huntington, daughters, Denise (David) Gillenwater, Dorothy English both of Fort Wayne, step-daughters, L. Diane Lawrence, Debra Worrell both of Fort Wayne, and17 grandchildren . William was preceded in death by wife, Sara English, parents, Dallas and Mayme English, and brother, Paul English. Service is 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 19, 2012 at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road with calling from 11:00 am till the service, Chaplain Robin LaRue officiating.
