I remember first meeting "Wild Bill" Lewis when I began dating his granddaughter, Lindsey, and I was going over to her mom's house to meet the family. Since I thought so dearly of my grandparents, I usually gravitate to meet older folks first. And let me tell you, what a stand-up guy. He was like the all american type of guy...military service, dedicated family man and a Cleveland Indians hardcore fan. Now that is man's man that I can relate

But the most mermorable thing that impressed me most about Bill was his amazing kindness! Thanks Wild Bill for being so cool to me! See you on the other side!

Always thinking of Bill

Everytime I think of grandpa's face it makes me smile. He was the most wonderful Grandpa anyone could ask for. He has been the only Grandpa that I have ever known and I am so grateful for that. The best memories that I have are with my grandpa and grandma at their old house in Mantua. My cousins Racheal, Sarah, Nikki and I created so many great memories there, that I will hold in my heart forever. I'll never forget

The best memories that I have are with my grandpa and grandma at their old house in Mantua. My cousins Racheal, Sarah, Nikki and I created so many great memories there, that I will hold in my heart forever. I'll never forget the time that Racheal and I flipped the motor bike at their house. I remember my mom and aunt seemed so mad at us, but not grandpa he was really worried that we were hurt! (ha ha) He was such a kind and caring person. I'll also never forget the chair that grandpa used to sit in at the old house next to the sliding glass doors. He would sit there everyday and drink his coffee and do his crossword puzzles. That was grandpa's "spot" and everyone knew it. :) Everytime I left his house he would say "you want a shot and a beer for the road?" Oh what a wonderful sense of humor he had! I have so many wonderul memories of my grandpa that I will cherish forever and ever. I will miss him greatly. I hope that one day we can all be together again...

Bill was an amazing grandpa. He was allways so patient with my sisters, cousins and I growing up. He was allways there to fix the 3-wheeler or golf cart when we would break it and never complained or yelled about it. I remember when we would come out to visit, he would allways have the pool cleaned and ready to go for us kids. I have nothing but fond memories of my grandfather. I will miss him.

To the family my deepest sympathy for your loss. Bill will be greatly missed by all of us. He was such a nice man.

I have had the opportunity to be a part of Bill's life for over 31 years. I am so grateful that he came into our lives. He has left me with so many memories that I will cherish forever. Bill had a good sense of humor and a wonderful disposition. He took action when necessary. I am a better person for knowing him. I am truly honored that he let me take care of him. I will miss him. I will miss him.
