Bill Grant left this earth peacefully on Sept. 25, 2012, at the age of 84. He was born to James and Mary Grant of Norfolk, VA. He was predeceased by three brothers, James, Robert and John. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Bill served his country in the Army after World War II. He worked for C & P Telephone for 39 years. Bill had a passion for playing the guitar and loved music. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; three daughters and a son, Debbie and husband Randy Gressley, Barbara Bosch, Doug Grant, all of Virginia Beach, VA and Donna and husband Paul Sioros of Dawsonville, GA; and also five grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Friday at 12 p.m. at Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations please be made to the ALS foundation or MDA.
