William G. Horn, 89, of the Rossmoor Section of Monroe Township, passed away Sunday after a short illness at his home. Born on Staten Island, NY, Mr. Horn was a resident of Staten Island before moving to Monroe Township 29 years ago. He was a graduate of St. Peters' Boys High School on Staten Island and worked for the Allstate Insurance Company on Staten Island, retiring after 35 years of service. Mr. Horn was a US Marine Veteran and attended the Citadel. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Hightstown and served as an Eucharistic Minister and was on the Board of Trustees. Son of the late Harry and Katherine C. Horn and husband of the late Elizabeth B. Horn, he is survived by his daughter, Donna E. Smith; his two sons, William D. and Peter J. Horn; three grandchildren, Craig W. Smith, Alexandra Horn and Sarah Horn; a great-granddaughter, Phoebe Smith; a sister, Suzanne Burger and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ. Interment will follow at Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury, NJ. Family and friends may call Thursday 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the A. S.
