William Gilford Dillard, 84, of Cabot, passed away on May 11, 2012. He was born November 14, 1927 at Four Mile Creek, AR, to James and Savannah Dillard. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and the State of California. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and VFW. William loved any kind of sport, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks.
He is survived by Wanda, his wife of 34 years; two sons, John Dillard (Lisa) of California and Sean Dillard of Cabot; two step-sons, Brian Atteberry of Pine Bluff and Tracey Atteberry of Missouri; four grandchildren, Zachary, Kristen, James, and Bonnie; four brothers, Paul Dillard and Raymond Dillard of Cabot, Arnold Dillard and Jim Dillard of California; two sisters, Reba O'Dell of Roland and Arlene Benson of North Carolina. William was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Matthew Dillard; one step-daughter, Dawn Bricker; two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Memorial service with full military honors will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
