William H. Beiermeister, 80, of Stevensville, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at his home.

A Memorial Luncheon celebrating William's Life will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Baroda Church of God-Lakeshore Campus, 5020 Cleveland Avenue, Stevensville. Arrangements are entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association for research. William was born June 8, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Wilhelm & Lena (Wagner) Beiermeister. He was employed at Carney's Bakery in Wheaton, Illinois, and in 1975 purchased the bakery with his wife Patricia. They operated for 30 years, retiring in 2005. William was a member of the D.A.N.K in Benton Harbor and Stevensville American Legion Post #568. He enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan and enjoyed the time spent with his boating friends at Eagle Pointe Marina. William served his country in the United States Army.

William is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia; his children-Martin Brown of Chicago, Debora Davis of Oswego, IL, Pamela (Donald) Uteritz of Joliet, IL, Karl (Heidi) Beiermeister of Wheaton, IL, Jane (Edward) Burke of Lombard, IL, Timothy (Allison) Beiermeister of Wheaton, IL; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings-Mary Brunnler of Chicago, Dolores (Egon) Kritsch of West Lake Village, CA, Reinhold (Margetta) Beiermeister, Ruth Torz, & Raymond (Birgit) Beiermeister, all of Germany. He was preceded in death by his parents.
