William H. Bentz, 87, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Born in St. Louis, MO, William was a Commercial Real estate investor, and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Marie "Dee" Bentz of Fort Wayne; daughters, Frances Ann (Kent) Hamilton of Hobart, IN and Susan Marie (Robert) Sublett of Culpeper, VA; grandchildren, Lauren (David) Zahrn, Melissa (Eric) Rogers, Katherine Sublett and Harrison Sublett. William was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Frances Bentz; and sister, Mary Louise Venverloh. Mass of Christian Burial is 11am, March 3, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, Rev. James A. Shafer officiating, with calling one hour prior. Visitation is 4 to 8pm Friday, March 2, 2012 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with the Vigil at 7:30pm.
