William Jack Yoak, 64 of Gauley Bridge, WV died August 10, 2011 at home.
Jack was a retired chemist from Peabody and Terry Eagle Coal Companies and was also employed by Chemical Testing and Engineering. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion. He attended Scrabble Creek Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Sybil Naylor Yoak.
Jack is survived by his children, Dawn “Binky” McCaskill, Suzanne Tschannen, Bryon Bradshaw, and Aaron Petry; 8 grandchildren; brother, Donovan Yoak; sisters, Betty Taylor, Phyllis Francisco, Shirley Breeden, Mary Cochrane, Ruth Catlett, and Lena Karwoski.
A memorial service to honor the life of William Jack Yoak will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday August 13, 2011 at Snodgrass Funeral Home with David A. Catlett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Memorials and Donations PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693 or to the National MS Society, PO Box 4527 New York, NY 10163.
