William Michael Joseph Harrington, 66, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Alta Dena, CA, Bill worked as a Programmer/Analyst for years, retiring in 2000. He was a U. S. Air Force Viet Nam War Veteran and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Bill enjoyed being a Ham Radio Operator N9FNK. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Susan F. Harrington of Fort Wayne, daughters, Christine M. Harrington of Ft. Wayne, Katherine A. (Chris) Harrington of Marin County, CA, and Colleen V. (Eric) Magnuson of Terre Haute, IN. Grandsons, Edwin Michael Joseph Harrington of Fort Wayne and Brendan Patrick and Jack William Magnuson of Terre Haute, IN, Granddaughter, Audrey Rose Carlton of Marin County, CA, sister, Julia M (Chris) Keller of Riverside, OH, brothers, Gerald (Shirley) Harrington of Ankeny, IA, and Patrick (Marilyn) Harrington of Polk City, IA, Sister, Mary Kathleen Harrington of Des Moines, IA, brothers, James (Marsha) Harrington of Birchtree, MO and John (Dixie) Harrington of Pineville, MO. sister, Terri (Joe) St. Peter of Monroe, IA. Bill was preceded in death by Parents, Leo F. and Marie Harrington and brother Dan Harrington. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 AM, December 30, 2011 at St. Jude Catholic Church with calling one hour prior. Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating. Calling Thursday, December 29, 2011 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a vigil, at 4:30 pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Catholic Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana.
