William G. Norton, "Bill" 81 of Blanchester, OH passed away on Monday August 19, 2013. He was born October 19, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH, a son of the late John W. and Hazel (nee Howel) Norton and step-son of the late Minnie Norton. He was retired from Ford Motor Co. as an electrician for over 30 years, and enjoyed boating, camping, traveling, flying his model airplanes and fishing. Surviving are his wife Joan (nee Jackson) Norton; children, Bill D. (Paula Johnson) Norton of Chucky, TN and Debby (John) Smith of Lebanon, OH; grandchildren, John W. Norton; brothers and sisters, Ivy Schnell, Kermit Scarberry, Irla Scarberry, Jim Norton, Tom Norton and the late Dorothy Hargett and Donald Norton. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday August 22, 2013 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107 with Pastor Larry Rogers officiating, where friends may call from 10-11 am also at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the the American Heart Association 5211 Madison Rd.
