Mr. William Pinkney Akers

AKERS, William P. – Age 74 of Cottontown, Tenn. Went home to the Lord on March 24, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Haddon Akers; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bill Cammarata; grandson, Samuel Vincent Cammarata; sister, Betty Isbell of Memphis; brother, Robert Akers of Vina, AL; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Akers was an IT Systems Analyst/Computer Programmer before retiring from MGM Windows in 2008. Visitation with the family will be at Cole & Garrett Funeral Home in White House on Friday (today) from 4 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Deatons Funeral Home in Belmont, MS. Interment at Mackey’s Creek Cemetery in Paden, MS. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to The American Cancer Society or Alive Hospice.
