Funeral services for Willie Katherine Culver, 76, of Franklin, are set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2011, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville. Willie passed away on October 22, 2011 in Franklin. Willie was born November 4, 1934 to Sidney Culver and Eva (Means) Culver in Caldwell, Texas. Willie resided at the Franklin Nursing Home in Franklin where she spent her time participating in the many activities offered. She loved junk food, hamburgers and shakes the most, getting her hair done, stuffed animals and spending time with the staff and her many friends at the nursing home. The staff refers to Willie as their little angel. Willie is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister Mary.
