Mr. Willie O'Conner Kilpatrick, Sr.

Willie O’Conner Kilpatrick, 75, of Mojave, CA, went home to the Lord on June 2, 2011, at his residence. He was born September 6, 1935, in Jacksonville, FL, to proud parents Howard and Bertha (Harvey) Kilpatrick. He grew up in Venice, CA, where he attended school. He served in the United States Air Force, and lived in the Antelope Valley for 27 years. He loved Nascar and baseball. Willie was a Brick Tender on construction sites, and his stone work and landscaping was very creative and unique.
Willie is survived by his wife, Iris; a son, Jessie (and Veronica); 5 daughters, Rhonda (and Chris), Pattie (and Kenny), Kathy, Evelyn (and Kevin), and Gina; a brother, Robert; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at Stickel Mortuary, Mojave. His visitation will be Wednesday, June 8, 2011, from 5-8 PM, at the mortuary. Burial in Mojave Public Cemetery. Arrangements by Stickel Mortuary, 2201 Inyo St., Mojave, 661-824-2328, www.SimpleTribute.com.
