Born May 6, 1915 to Edgar and Lucy Twentier , Beaver, OK. in a Sod House, delivered by Dr. Long who arrived by horse and buggy. She passed away November 21, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, John E. "Ed" Johnson Sr. Survived by son, John E. "Ed" Johnson, Jr. and wife Barbara; daughters, Sandra Lynn Clayton and husband Phil, Donna Jean Britain and husband Chuck; grandchildren, Terry Johnson(Virgie), D'nese Haddox (Archie), J. McClure (Jennifer), Deborah Loveday (Troy), Tim Johnson (Jenifer), Lori Gorman (Mark); great grandchildren, Josh, Brandy, Luke, Jeremy, Jonathan, Riley, Connor, Lizzie and Landry; sister, Betty Staten; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. A longtime member of Rosemont Christian Church in Oak Cliff and presently a member of First Christian Church in Plano. A loving wife, mother, homemaker and adoring grand and great grandmother. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, November 23, 2011, Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Visitation is one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
