Wilma Gertrude Morgan

Wilma Gertrude Morgan, 89 of Dorothy went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2011. Born March 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Leyman and Susan Shannon Friend.
Wilma was a long time member of Colcord Presbyterian Church and a 1941 graduate of Clear Fork High School.
In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Morgan; brother Ray Shannon Friend and niece Kathy Cerrone.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister Elizabeth Short of Myrtle Beach, SC; niece Karen Short of Harrisonburg, VA; great-nephew Charles Shannon Cerrone of Alexandria, VA.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley.
Burial will follow at Estep Cemetery in Ameagle.
Friends may gather with the family Sunday from 1 - 2 PM at the funeral home.
