Love Emblem

After several years of battling Alzheimer, Dementia and Parkinson’s diseases our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife has been called home to be with her loving husband. There was surely a great reunion when she was met by the love of her life Bob, her son Steven, granddaughter Sarah, her mother, sisters and brothers that have waited for her for so long.

Wynonia Belle Prince, age 77 of Payson, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Lomand Peak Rehabilitation Center in Ogden. She was born November 12, 1933 in Fairview, Utah to Henry Ray and Florence Elizabeth Spence Mower. She Married Robert Lewis Prince Sr., May 17, 1950 in Castle Gate, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized June 21, 1956 in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death March 23, 1992.

Belle was a faithful, lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she held numerous callings.  She had a deep love and belief of the gospel and an endless love and faith in her savior, Jesus Christ.

Bell was very proud of all of her children and would never miss an opportunity to praise them to her friends and coworkers.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.  As far back as anyone can remember she has always enjoyed and was very good at playing Pinochle, Canasta, Yatzee and just about any other game she could find.  It was probably the love and joy that she felt being around her friends and family that she cherished the most.

Survivors include: her children, Robert Lewis Prince, Jr. (Shauna), Farr West; Charles Phillip Prince, Kenneth Guy Prince (Sherie), all of Ogden; Patricia Ann and Rose Elizabeth Prince, both of Payson; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Mower of Payson. She was preceded in death by: a son, Steven William Prince; a granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Prince; siblings, Mack, Donald, Elmer, Larry, Florence, Nora, Naomi, Lois and three siblings from a previous marriage.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 13, 2011, 12:00 noon, in the Mtn. View 5th Ward Chapel, 789 East Arrowhead Trail (700 North), Payson, where friends may call 10-11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Lomond Peak Assisted Living for all of the love, care, friendship and attention that they gave her for the past eighteen months of her life.  They would also like to thank the staff of Inspiration Hospice for their help, care and assistance in helping mom spend the last couple of months in a dignified and comfortable manner.
