Yeon Jung Baik

At the age of 62, Yeon Jung Baik peacefully passed away after a short but aggressive battle with stage 4 stomach cancer on January 19, 2012 as she was surrounded by family and friends. Yeon was born and raised in Incheon, South Korea, and immigrated with her husband, Haeng Bok to the United States in 1976 and since resided in San Francisco, CA. She is survived by her husband, Haeng Bok and their four children, Cameron Baik, Steven Baik, Mark Baik, and Sara Baik-Yang.

Yeon Jung was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother and employee and lived a life of faith, prayer, integrity and devotion to God. She was a cheerful, loving, fun, kind person and brought joy and laughter when surrounded by family and close friends in the Christian and Catholic community. Yeon Jung served in church as she enjoyed being in the choir at church and was always praying for others. Also, Yeon Jung exemplified strong qualities of committment and hardwork as she worked as a Housekeeper for the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco for 35 years. As a result, she is respected by many for her strong will and determination.

Yeon Jung will forever be remembered in our hearts and missed dearly.
