Born March 14, 1924, passed away peacefully on October 4 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne continued to put her family first to the very end. During her illness, Yvonne showed both strength and grace. Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Antonio Machado. Yvonne was loved by many but especially by her four children Madaline Machado (Florencio Burbano), Diane Machado (Lewis Norton), Timothy Machado (Anna), Toni Machado, and grandson Brian. Yvonne is also survived by four granddaughters, Jenny Nowak, Laura Kerlin, Shannon Machado, and Elizabeth Machado and three great grandchildren.
Yvonne's sense of humor and friendliness toward others will be missed by all who knew her. Yvonne was well known for her kindness and generosity. A great animal lover, she was particularly passionate about promoting animal advocacy.
An avid reader, some of Yvonne's favorite pastimes included, current events and discussion. She also enjoyed a good poker game, and lunch with treasured friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA on Thursday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 18633 E. Front St., Linden, CA
There will be visitation at DeYoungs on Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Committal will be private at San Joaquin Catholic Mausoleum
