Zbigniew Piekarz

Zbigniew "Peter" Piekarz, age 50, of Cranford, passed away on Sunday May 13, 2012, at Overlook Hospital, Summit. Beloved son of Joanna (nee Kulaj) and the late Emil Piekarz (2008). Cherished brother of Jan Piekarz and Maria Newhart. Treasured uncle of Tracey and Joanna Newhart who was also his goddaughter. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday May 16, 2012, at 8:30 am, from the Parkway Wozniak Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark, thence to Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church, Irvington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 am. Interment, Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Building Fund 537 Grove St. Irvington, NJ 07111. Born in Poland, Mr. Piekarz lived in Irvington and most recently Cranford for the past 37 years. Mr. Piekarz worked as a manager for John Deere Landscapes, of Edison. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4504 of Union.
