Zella Reynolds

Zella Reynolds, 80, of Coal City, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at her home.
Born December 14, 1930, in Egeria, WV, she was the daughter of the late George and Rosa Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Reynolds in 2002; brother, Clarence Reed, and her sister Nell Daniel. She was the last member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Reynolds graduated from Stoco High School in 1948 and was a homemaker. She had been a member of the Lillybrook Freewill Baptist Church for 35 years and was active in the church's Ladies Auxiliary, which raised money for the church and different charities. She loved going to church, cooking large meals for her family, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In later years, she and Jim became a member of the Coal City Freewill Baptist Church, but she had been unable to attend for several years due to her health.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Larry (Pam) Reynolds of Midway, WV and Stephen (Teresa) Reynolds of Coal City, WV; and her daughter Debbie (Steven) McCallister of Crab Orchard, WV; grandchildren include Julie (Steve) Honaker of Beckley, WV, Leane (Jerad) Heintz of Pittsburgh, PA, Stephanie (Matt) Lilly of Coal City, WV, Andrea (Michael) Bailey of Glen Daniel, WV, Annette (David) Wilson of Ootawah, TN, and Jamie Reynolds of Louisville, KY; great-grandchildren are Andrew and Nicole Honaker, Caleb and Ethan Lilly, Karoline and Kaci Heintz, and Samuel Bailey; and special friend Yulaine Murphy of Coal City, WV, who helped care for her.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2011, at Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Beckley, WV with Rev. Danny Legg , Rev. Frank Lyons and Rev. Rick Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may gather with the family Friday from 12:00 noon until time of the service at the funeral home.
