Zenaida Demeterio, 51, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Born in the Philippines, she was the daughter of Felicidad and the late Fermin Santiago. She is survived by her loving husband, Leonardo Demeterio, son, Michael Joseph Demeterio both of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, Jaime Santiago and wife Miriam of California and Efren Santiago and wife Marissa of the Philippines; four sisters, Elizabeth Gines and husband Tripilo of Virginia Beach, VA, Rebecca Dela Pena and husband Mario of Virginia Beach, VA, Rochelle Agbuya and husband Ismael of California, and Jovi Sambo and husband Tino of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Elena Valentine and family of California; brother-in-law, Boy Demeterio and wife Virgie of Texas; nephew, Sherwin Demeterio; niece, Annabelle and husband Robert; and several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, and Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be held at 7 p.m. Friday.
